HEIDI S. MILAM: We handle a lot of bankruptcy cases to include Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. We also handle a lot of domestic cases, which includes divorce, child custody, child support, along with adoption. We also handle some personal injury cases and even some criminal cases.
I've been practicing law for over 15 years. A large part of that time, I did creditor work, which helps me in my bankruptcy representation of my debtor clients because I know what the other side will do.
We're a small office. And we strive for personal attention for our clients. Myself and my staff both try to give as much attention as we can to each client individually. I spend a lot of time evaluating my client's current needs and situation. And I feel that that is very important so that you can give them the best options to remedy their financial or domestic problems.
What I enjoy most about representing clients is the end result. Often, my clients tell me that I have helped them relieve a lot of stress. And they're happy to move on with their life now. My clients can expect me to be with them every step of the way. I will be the one that evaluates their situation and determines what's the best option for them.
